Natalie Flores, MEd

Natalie holds a Masters of Education degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her experience and research focus on utilizing culturally sustaining pedagogy and practices in early childhood education. She leverages this knowledge to inform frameworks impacting classroom teaching, family engagement, and policy implementation. For over a decade, Natalie has worked as a teacher in classrooms serving young children from infant/toddler care to second grade, as well as worked closely in coaching and supervising teachers to enhance their practices within the classroom. She currently teaches several early childhood related courses at the graduate and undergraduate level, while maintaining her work in early childhood policy for the state of Texas.
